"GetAbout is a spunky, fun, new booking and itinerary concept, developed by our team in the heart and soul of Wollombi. Our concept is, to create individual packages and unique experiences which will expand the growth and tourism in our region. We offer a personalised and relaxed service online or face to face".

Wollombi GetAbout ~ A idea/concept steaming over a local glass of red at the Wollombi tavern one sunny afternoon. Wendy and Jo decided to leave their day to day jobs to follow a dream of creating Wollombi into a destination. Wollombi GetAbout is about creating unique experiences and packaging them up in and around Wollombi and the Hunter Valley.
Our dream is to create unique packages for couples, girls/ladies groups, families, health and wellness groups or individuals, the adventurous type as well as the last minute getaway from Sydney or newcastle.
Our intentions are about using the local businesses in Wollombi and Laguna already set up
to create our packages so everyone gets to show and sell their unique product and or experience.
Packages include ~ Wine and Dine Packages
Wine tours (Local and Pokolbin), eating gourmet food at Wollombi's finest Italian restaurant PANINOS. Wollombi Cafe is open seven days a week for coffee, brekky, brunch or a gorgeous leisurely lunch. Or if you want to have a good old pub feed at our Local Tavern they offer ~ huge meals they will not disappoint even the biggest eaters in the family. Juicy steaks and the biggest burgers are the most popular choice by all the hungry travelers.
Grab a picnic hamper from us and hire a bike and ride from the village to our local wineries for your own private wine tasting and picnic within the vines.
Adventure packages~
Bike hire, walking tours/bird watching,
Mountain Biking through the national parks with a experienced Tour operator.
Self drive sun set tours~ grab a picnic, map and some wine from the local winery and enjoy the views and the smell of the country air.
Relaxation and Wellness and Romance Packages~
Have a massage and or a Reiki treatment in a Traditional American Indian Tipi in front of a open fire and then indulge in a outside bush bath (Soak or bubbles) using locally made products on top of a mountain.
